Pasta salad with crab sticks
This pasta salad is a tasty and creamy one and will make a great snack during your afternoon chill.
Your can add almost anything to this kind of salad. You may also use a variety of pasta types.
You can mix chicken, salmon, tuna, shrimp or crab sticks with pasta. You can also make a salad with only vegetables, using corn, peppers, cucumber or tomatoes.
There are really a lot of recipes for pasta salads.

Ingredients for crab and pasta salad.
- 1 cup of pasta plus 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 avocado
- 1/2 can of sweetcorn
- 250 g of crab stick
- a bunch of dill
- 1/2 fresh cucumber
- 3/4 teaspoon of salt
- a pinch of white pepper
- 2 tablespoons of sour cream
- 8 tablespoons of mayonnaise
How to prepare pasta salad with crab.
Cook the pasta in water salted with one tablespoon of salt. Then drain it and let it cool.
Cut the avocado into large cubes. Cut the crab sticks into half-centimeter-long pieces. Chop the dill. Cut the cucumber across, remove the seeds and remove the middle. Cut it into stripes. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Add some white pepper, salt, cream and mayonnaise. Mix thoroughly. Before serving, cool it down in the refrigerator.

Good to know when making crab salad.
I used rotelli, but you can use any pasta such as farfalle, pennoni, penne, fussili or gemelli. Do not choose too big shells as they will not fit as well in the salad.
