Mexican salad – party King
If you like Mexican flavours, you’ve come to the right place. This Mexican salad is a combination of several flavours. Mexico is represented mainly by red beans and nachos. The garlic sauce used for drizzling the salad is a Polish touch 🙂
It is worth saying right away that if you are not a fan of raw onion or garlic, this salad is unfortunately not for you. On the other hand, all the others, who do not mind the raw taste of garlic or onion, can go ahead and start making the salad now 🙂

How to make Mexican salad – party King.
Pour a tablespoon of oil into a frying pan, add minced meat, tomato puree, herbs de Provence and sweet paprika. Fry over medium heat for at least 15 minutes. At the end of frying, add a teaspoon of salt and a pinch of pepper. Cool it down.
Cut the peppers into strips then put them in a small frying pan, add a tablespoon of oil and fry over medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and let the peppers cool down.
Grate the cheese on a large-mesh grater.
Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes.
Cut the lettuce into medium-sized strips.
Drain the sweetcorn and beans from their brine.
Mash the garlic into a bowl, add a pinch of salt and yogurt. Mix thoroughly.
Put away a few whole pieces from the nachos to decorate the salad and crumble the rest of it.
Assemble the salad by putting down layers in the following order: lettuce, onion, pepper, meat, corn, beans, garlic sauce, cheese, nachos.

Good to know when making Mexican salad – party King.
I used natural flavoured nachos. You can use cheese or chili flavoured ones as well.
Additionally, you can add 2-3 tablespoons of Jalapeno peppers. They will make the salad really spicy.
I used medium-sized garlic cloves. If you have one large one, that’s enough too.
Make sure to add the nachos to the salad just before serving it. Do not add them with the other ingredients because they will get soft.
I opted for turkey minced. I don’t like the smell of pork minced meat after frying and I didn’t get beef in the store this time.
The cheese I added to the salad was Ementaler. It can of course be replaced with any other cheese.
