Fried Camembert
Fried Camembert is a real treat for the palate. It is quite caloric, but you can allow yourself to have some occasionally. Preparing the breaded cheese takes less than 10 minutes, including frying time. It is therefore a speedy snack that works great at any party. The breading that the cheese is covered in contains a bit of garlic and sweet paprika, which makes the cheese not only tasty but also slightly aromatic.
Camembert cheese tastes delicious when served with your favourite sauce, chutney, or jam. Cranberry, raspberry, or strawberry jam are great additions to fried cheese. Any sweet addition goes well with this cheese. I encourage you to check out the below recipe for fried Camembert and enjoy.

Ingredients for fried Camembert.
- 400 g Camembert cheese (2 packets)
- 1/2 teaspoon of granulated garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon of sweet paprika powder
- 20 g all-purpose flour
- 10 g potato flour
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- oil for frying

How to make fried Camembert.
Cut the Camembert cheese into triangles. Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them with a fork. Pour the flour into a separate bowl, and add the potato flour, granulated garlic, and sweet paprika powder. Mix thoroughly.
Stick the cheese triangles onto a skewer. First coat them in flour with spices, then in egg and finally, in breadcrumbs. Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating, i.e. after the first coating in breadcrumbs, coat them again in egg and then in breadcrumbs.
Pour a large amount of vegetable oil into a pot, heat it very well and add the breaded cheese. Fry on medium heat for 1.5 to 2 minutes, stirring carefully around twice. Put the fried cheese on a plate lined with paper towels. Serve immediately after frying.

Good to know when making fried Camembert.
In this recipe, I use two packages of Camembert cheese. I cut each one into 8 triangles. So with the quantity I provided in the ingredients, you can make 16 pieces of fried cheese.
Fry only a few cheese triangles at a time. The frying time cannot be too long, because otherwise, the cheese will start leaking out. When you notice that the cheese starts leaking slightly, immediately remove it to a plate.
