Additives to meat dishes are not so easy to come up with. If you’re out of ideas, here is one.
All of us have those moments sometimes, when we just do not know what to serve our favorite pork chop with.
I also have moments like this, even though I cook often and a lot. Sometimes I just want to try something new.
Not everyone knows sweet potatoes. Honestly, they are not the cheapest vegetables and not everyone may be able to afford them.
Are they really so different from regular potatoes? The answer is yes, their taste is different and they are slightly sweet.
As for me, this is a plus because it means that they at least have some taste. Their additional advantage is that they can be cooked very quickly. So you do not have to keep them on the heat for hours.
Unlike sweet potatoes, tofu cheese is tasteless. If you decide to prepare something from it, combine it with other ingredients, otherwise the dish will have no flavour.
Based on the above, the combination of sweet potatoes and tofu cheese makes sense. I added some chili flakes and fresh thyme to the dish.

Peel the potatoes and cut into medium-sized cubes. Cut the tofu into small cubes as well. Put the tofu and potato pieces into a bowl. Add salt, olive oil, thyme and a few dried chili flakes. Mix. Put them on a baking tray or in a casserole dish. Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
Serve as an addition to meat dishes or by themselves.
If you do not have dried chili flakes, you can go for a fresh chili pepper or use a bit of dried spicy peppers.
Olive oil can be replaced with sunflower oil.
