Quick donuts
The preparation of donuts according to the standard recipes takes forever.
The other day I had a massive craving for something sweet and somehow thought of donuts.
I said to myself that I would like something similar to a proper donuts that I can also prepare really quickly, instead of spending most of the afternoon in the kitchen.
40 minutes later I had a pile of ready-made “treats”.
If you are like me and fancy something sweet but do not want to spend ages with the preparation, this recipe is for you.

Ingredients for quick donuts.
- 1 package of vanilla sugar
- pinch of salt
- 2 spoons of sugar
- 1 egg
- 600 ml of milk
- 20 g of yeast
- 3 and 1/2 cups of flour
- sunflower oil for frying
How to prepare quick donuts.
Dissolve the yeast in the warm milk. Pour the sifted flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt into a bowl. Add whisked egg and milk with yeast. Mix thoroughly with a spoon. Set aside in a warm place for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, the dough should increase by a half in volume. If so, begin frying the doughnuts.
Take small portions of pastry on the spoon and gently toss them in hot oil. Fry them over medium heat until they become golden brown. Serve with jam or chocolate cream.

Good to know when making quick donuts.
Some people sprinkle their donuts with caster sugar. Before doing so, let them cool down otherwise the sugar will melt.
