Eggs in warm horseradish sauce
Eggs in warm horseradish sauce are one of my favourite dishes with eggs in the main role. Easter is not the only time when I serve this delicious dish. I prepare eggs in horseradish sauce for any occasion, during the year and quite often. I most often make them for dinner on days when I have little time to cook, and these are moments during the week when I am busy or tired after work. Making eggs in warm horseradish sauce is very quick. Hard-boiled eggs boil for a maximum of 10 minutes, and in that time, you can safely make a cream sauce on broth with horseradish. Ingredients for eggs in warm horseradish sauce.
- 2 full tablespoons of grated horseradish sauce from a jar
- 300 ml vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- 100 ml cream (30%)
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of dill
- 1/2 teaspoon of crystal sugar
- 4 hard-boiled eggs

How to make eggs in warm horseradish sauce.
Put the butter in a medium-sized pot, add the flour and stir with a whisk until the butter melts and combines with the flour. From that point, fry on low heat for a little over a minute, stirring constantly. Next, pour the hot vegetable broth in a small stream while stirring constantly. Cook for about a minute, then pour in the cream and cook for another minute, stirring constantly. Then add salt, pepper, sugar, lemon juice and grated horseradish. Stirring occasionally, cook on low heat for 4 minutes. At the end of cooking, add the chopped dill. Pour the finished sauce into a serving dish and arrange halves of the hard-boiled eggs on it. Serve with mashed potatoes.

Good to know when making eggs in warm horseradish sauce.
I hard-boil medium-sized eggs for 9 minutes. I cook large eggs for a maximum of 10 minutes and small eggs for about 8 minutes.
