Cottage cheese is one of my favourite breakfast dishes. Besides being healthy, it is also very quick to prepare and inexpensive. It is therefore an ideal proposition for a cheap and quick breakfast. The basis of this dish is cottage cheese, sour cream or yoghurt, chives and radish. This is the way I make cottage cheese, at least at home. I often combine yoghurt with cream, add only cream or use only natural yoghurt. The recipe for cottage cheese with radish and chives, which you can find below, is using yoghurt.
This creamy cottage cheese can be served by itself, with bread or as an addition to other dishes. If you decide to serve it not only for breakfast, but, for example, for dinner, then it will be a phenomenal addition to potato cakes, vegetable cutlets and pasta. Enjoy 馃檪

Ingredients for cottage cheese with radish and chives.
- 250 g cottage cheese
- small bunch of radish
- small bunch of chives
- 250 g natural yoghurt
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
How to make cottage cheese with radish and chives.
Remove the cottage cheese from the refrigerator, put it in a bowl and rub it thoroughly with a fork. Add yoghurt, chopped radish, finely chopped chives and salt. Thoroughly mix the whole thing. Serve sprinkled with chives and radishes, and refrigerate before serving.

Good to know when making cottage cheese with radish and chives.
I like my cottage cheese to have a fairly fluid consistency, which is why I usually use a lot of yoghurt or cream. If you prefer a less stringy consistency, add less yoghurt.
Herbs that go well with cottage cheese are chives, green onions, dill and tarragon. In addition to salt, the cottage cheese can be seasoned with a little pepper and ground paprika.
