Cottage cheese is one of my favourite breakfast dishes. Besides being healthy, it is also very quick to prepare and inexpensive. It is therefore an ideal proposition for a cheap and quick breakfast. The basis of this dish is cottage cheese, sour cream or yoghurt, chives and radish. This is the way I make cottage cheese, at least at home. I often combine yoghurt with cream, add only cream or use only natural yoghurt. The recipe for cottage cheese with radish and chives, which you can find below, is using yoghurt.
This creamy cottage cheese can be served by itself, with bread or as an addition to other dishes. If you decide to serve it not only for breakfast, but, for example, for dinner, then it will be a phenomenal addition to potato cakes, vegetable cutlets and pasta. Enjoy 🙂

I like my cottage cheese to have a fairly fluid consistency, which is why I usually use a lot of yoghurt or cream. If you prefer a less stringy consistency, add less yoghurt.
