Breakfast croissants
Here is another recipe for homemade bakery goods on my blog. This time, I present you the recipe for fluffy, soft breakfast croissants prepared from yeast dough. To prepare breakfast croissants, you need flour, yeast, milk, butter, a little salt and sugar. Knead all the ingredients well, set them aside to rise then form the croissants. Breakfast croissants are perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Ingredients for breakfast croissants.
- 500 g all-purpose flour + 3 tablespoons for dustings the dough
- 30 g fresh yeast
- 350 ml lukewarm milk
- 1 and 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1,5 tablespoons of crystal sugar
- 40 g butter
- 2 tablespoons of milk for brushing croissants
How to make breakfast croissants.
Pour 150 ml of lukewarm milk into a bowl, add sugar and yeast. Stir, then add 2 tablespoons of flour, taken from the whole, then set the bowl aside for 10 minutes for the yeast to rise a little.
Sift the flour into a large bowl, pour in the remaining milk, salt, melted butter and leavened yeast. Mix then knead the dough for 6-8 minutes. After kneading, cover the bowl with a cloth and leave it to rise for 30 minutes.
Transfer the dough onto a pastry board lightly dusted with flour, then divide it into three balls and roll each ball into a circle with a diameter of 25 centimetres. Successively, cut each circle along and across to get four triangle-like shapes and roll each of them out, so that their sides become 20 centimetres long each. Starting from one side, roll the dough triangles into a croissant shape and twist their ends slightly towards the center. Place the croissants on a baking tray lined with baking paper and leave them to rise for 15 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. When the croissants are risen, brush each one with a little milk then transfer the baking tin into the preheated oven. Bake the croissants for 20-23 minutes or until they are slightly golden.

Good to know when making breakfast croissants.
From the given amount of ingredients I got 12 croissants. Of course, you can make smaller croissants, which will increase the number of pieces obtained from these measurements.
Breakfast croissants can be served with jam, chocolate cream, cold cuts of meat, vegetables or cheese. In fact, any type of filling will work well as an addition to these croissants.
