Cabbage salad with garlic dressing
Are you making a meat dinner and you have no idea what salad to serve it with? Maybe you will be tempted by this delicious white cabbage salad with garlic dressing.

White cabbage is available all year long but the best cabbage to use in the salad is raw, new cabbage available at the beginning of the season. The advantage of such new cabbage is that it is softer and crispier than the one that is stored over the winter.
In general, the best salads are those made from fresh, new vegetables. Apart from the cabbage, this salad also contains other vegetables such carrot, parsley and red pepper. I recommend you this salad as a dinner side dish.

Good to know when making cabbage salad with garlic dressing.

Do not wash the cabbage before you cut it, only remove its outer leaves. Wet cabbage will remain wet in the salad and it will taste terrible.
After cutting the cabbage, do not tap it too hard, do it just very lightly. The cabbage should soften a little, but at the same time, it should not release its juice.
