Palmiers are French cookies made from puff pastry. After rolling out, the puff pastry is sprinkled with sugar, although you can also add cinnamon or dried fruit to it, and then the puff pastry is rolled from the opposite two ends towards the middle, at which point the ends come together to form ear-shaped cookies….
