On hot days, nothing quenches your thirst like a juice made of fresh fruit. One of the most popular drinks I’ve made this summer is watermelon juice. I usually buy a watermelon on the market, because such watermelons are always sweeter than store-bought ones. After peeling and cutting, I combine the watermelon pulp with a little honey, lemon juice and mint leaves. If the juice is too sweet for me, I serve it with cold sparkling water. You can make watermelon juice in less than 10 minutes, so I encourage you to prepare it. Below, I am sharing a recipe for a watermelon juice and I hope you will prepare it at home.

How to make watermelon juice.
Dice the peeled watermelon, put in a blender with honey, lemon juice and mint. Blend until the watermelon gets completely disintegrated and combined with the remaining ingredients. Pour the watermelon juice through a fine strainer, then strain it through a kitchen cloth. Serve with ice cubes and mint leaves.

Good to know when making watermelon juice.
First pour the watermelon juice through a strainer, then put a kitchen cloth over a large, narrow dish and pour the juice through it. Pouring the juice through a cloth allows you to almost completely filter out the blended seeds.
I recommend using natural honey to season your drink. Flower honey is best, I usually use acacia honey.
You can use lime juice instead of lemon juice.
