How to make chocolate puff pastry snails.
Put the puff pastry onto a pastry board and roll it out. Melt the butter, then let it cool down. Once the butter is cool but still liquid, brush the puff pastry with it. Next, sprinkle the pastry with cocoa and brown sugar. Roll the dough into a roll along its longer edge. The whole thing does not have to be very compact, the roll may be a bit loose. Once rolled, cut it into 3 centimeter-long pieces.
Place the cut pastry on a baking tray lined with baking paper. The pastry rolls should be placed and flattened to a thickness of 1.5 centimetre.
Put the chocolate snails in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius and bake for 30 minutes.
