Celeriac salad
When I make meat for dinner, I usually serve it with potatoes, rice or groats and with some kind of a salad. Mostly I make salad from carrots, beetroots, celeriac, cabbage, leek and kohlrabi. These are just some examples of vegetables that can be used when making salads.
Celeriac is quite a versatile vegetable. In the past, I made burgers, fries and soup from it but recently, I’ve also tried it in a salad along with apples. This vegetable has many uses and it tasted good in each of the dishes I have made from it so far.

How to make celeriac salad.
Wash the celeriac, peel then grate it on a large-mesh grater and put it to a bowl. Grate an apple on a large-mesh grater and add it to the celeriac, along with sour cream, sugar, salt, horseradish and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
Keep the salad in the fridge. Serve with meat dishes.

Good to know when making celeriac salad.

I used creamy horseradish. It is not the strongest type of horseradish you can buy. If you get fresh horseradish, be careful, because it is very strong. You may have to reduce its quantity a bit.
