Tortilla rolls with ham and cheese
I always have a packet of tortilla in my freezer in case I need to use it in emergency situations. When unexpected guests visit, I take out the tortilla, defrost it in a minute, and top it up it ham, cheese and vegetable toppings. Below I have for you a recipe for tortilla rolls with ham and cheese, which are suitable for a quick snack. I make these rolls when I have absolutely no time to cook. In addition to the ham and cheese, I also add green salad, arugula or spinach to these rolls, depending on what I have in the fridge at the time.

Ingredients for tortilla rolls with ham and cheese.
- 4 big slices of ham
- 2 big slices of cheese
- 4 tablespoons of cream cheese
- 3 big halves of sun-dried tomatoes
- a small bunch of spinach leaves
- 1 tortilla having 31 centimetres in diameter
How to make tortilla rolls with ham and cheese.
Dice the sun-dried tomatoes into small cubes, mix them with cream cheese and spread the finished cream over the tortilla. Put the slices of ham on the cream, then spinach leaves and cheese. Put the cheese only on one side of the tortilla, as you can see on the photos I added on my Instagram. Then, starting from one of the sides, roll the tortillas into a roll and cut them into pieces, each 3 centimetres wide.

Good to know when making tortilla rolls with ham and cheese.
After rolling the tortilla into a roll, I trimmed the protruding side with a knife so that each roll can stand freely on a serving plate and not fall apart.
Both the cheese slices and the ham slices should be reasonably thin. Thick slices will make the rolls hard to roll.
I went for a tortilla with a high diameter. You can also use corn tortilla in this recipe.
