Ingredients for devilled eggs with ham and horseradish.
- 1 medium-sized apple
- 1 tablespoon of water
- 4 teaspoons of horseradish
- 8 eggs
- a pinch of salt
- a pinch of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of sour cream
- 150 g smoked ham
How to make eggs stuffed with ham and horseradish.
Hard-boil the eggs in water salted with 1 teaspoon of salt. It should take 8-9 minutes to cook the eggs until hard-boiled. Once the eggs are done, pour cold water over them, cool them down, then peel them.
Peel the apple, cut it into very small cubes and place it into a pot. Add 1 tablespoon of water then simmer over a very low heat until the apple becomes tender. Once cooked, cool it down.
Cut each of the boiled eggs in half, remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt, pepper, cream and horseradish and mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well combined. When the stuffing has practically no lumps in it, add the pieces of boiled apple and ham cut into strips. Mix the ingredients thoroughly.
Fill each egg with the finished stuffing. Additionally, you can serve the eggs decorated with parsley or chives.

Good to know when making stuffed eggs.
After boiling, the apple had a weight of 60 g.
I used smoked ham as it has a more intense flavour. I would recommend using this kind of ham rather then cooked one.
