Any meat that is marinated before cooking definitely tastes better. Such meats have a distinct flavour, they are aromatic and juicy. I know that it is not always possible to marinate meat, especially when you need to prepare a dinner or barbecue without a previous notice. However, if you know in advance that you will cook or grill meat, you must treat it with a marinade.
Marinades can be prepared from various ingredients. The basis of a marinade can be oil, olive oil or yogurt. Depending on whether you like spicy, mild or slightly sweet food, the marinade may include paprika, honey, ketchup, soy sauce, herbs or mustard. A lot depends also on what kind of meat you are marinating, because not every marinade works with every type of meat.
This time, I want to encourage you to try this recipe for a delicate herb marinade based on yoghurt. This marinade works best when combined with chicken. To prepare the herb marinade, you will need fresh herbs, yoghurt, garlic, lemon and spices. Fresh herbs make the meat not only smell great, but also give it a wonderful taste.

Good to know when making herbs marinade for chicken.
You can change the selection of herbs if you want to. Thyme, parsley, sage and savory will also work in this marinade. Of course, you don’t have to add all of these herbs at once, you can mix them together and combine only the ones you like best.
If you decide to replace fresh herbs with dried herbs, you must take into account that they will give the meat a different aroma than fresh herbs.
In addition, I mixed all the marinade ingredients with a blender. You can also do it but it is not a must.
