Tortilla roll-ups with cheese, ham and pickles
Tortilla roll-ups with cheese, ham and pickles are a very quick snack that you can prepare in 5 minutes. The basis of these roll-ups is wheat tortilla wraps with mayonnaise and grated picked cucumber and lined with smoked ham and grated cheese. These simple roll-ups are perfect for dinner, lunch or as a party snack. As is usually the case with tortilla snacks, their preparation time and complexity are minimal, so they are a good idea for a snack with unannounced guests. I encourage you to try the recipe for tortilla roll-ups with cheese, ham and pickles, and I hope you will enjoy them.

Ingredients for tortilla roll-ups with cheese, ham and pickles.
- 150 g smoked ham
- 2 wheat tortilla wraps
- 50 g pickled cucumber
- 80 g grated cheese
- 1 tablespoon of cut chives
- 80 g mayonnaise
- 1/6 teaspoon of black pepper

How to make tortilla roll-ups with cheese, ham and pickles.
Grate the pickled cucumbers on a large-mash grater, squeeze out the excess juice and combine the pickles with mayonnaise and black pepper. Cut the slices of smoked ham into strips. Spread each tortilla with pickled mayonnaise, then place pieces of ham on it, sprinkle with chives and grated cheese. Press lightly with your hand and roll up into a roll, cut off the ends and cut the roll into four parts. Place the roll-ups on a serving plate and serve them immediately after preparation or keep them in the refrigerator before serving.

Good to know when making tortilla roll-ups with cheese, ham and pickles.
The wheat tortillas had a diameter of 27 centimetres each.
The cheese I chose was coarsely grated Gouda cheese. However, any hard cheese such as Emmental, Cheddar or Edam will work in these roll-ups.
Each tortilla can be used to make 4-6 roll-ups, depending on how wide you want them to be. I cut the rolled tortillas into four.
You can replace the fresh chives with dill or parsley.

You can just say “pickle”; pickled cucumber will confuse your UK, US, etc. readers.
Hi, maybe I can just say gherkin but this might confuse people too. Thank you for the suggestion, I will use “pickle” then.
Yes, gherkin is likely the most accurate.
Also, I noticed in some posts you say “big” eggs. We don’t typically say that. We say “large”.
Great recipes 🙂
Hi, yes I have already taken a note about this term and I’m trying not to use it in my newest recipes. I have to audit my old posts and make amendments there. As always, thank you for the tip 🙂
