Salad with chicken, celeriac and leek is a tasty salad that is perfect for both weekends and holidays. Most of the ingredients used in this salad only need to be cut or poured from a jar. The only ingredient that needs to be fried is the chicken breast. I flavour the salad to taste with mustard, mayonnaise and natural yoghurt. Additionally, I add dry Italian herbs to the poultry meat, which, after combining the meat with the other ingredients, also affect the taste of the salad. Ingredients for salad with chicken, celeriac and leek.
- 150 g canned celeriac
- 200 g leek
- 285 g canned sweetcorn
- 500 g chicken breast
- 3/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 teaspoon of Italian herbs
- 300 g canned pineapple
- 120 g mayonnaise
- 80 g natural yoghurt
- 1 tablespoon of grainy mustard
How to make salad with chicken, celeriac and leek.
After washing the chicken breast under running water and drying it with paper tower, cut it into medium-sized cubes. Cut the well-washed, cleaned and dried leek into thin strips. Drain the juice from the pineapple, remove the brine from the celeriac and corn. Pour oil into a pan, add diced chicken and fry over a medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. At the end of frying, add 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper and Italian herbs. Cool it down.
Combine chopped leek, celeriac, chicken, sweetcorn, pineapple, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, mustard, natural yoghurt and mayonnaise in a bowl. Mix them thoroughly. Store the finished salad in the refrigerator before serving.

I use diced pineapple. If you buy pineapple pieces, cut them into medium-sized cubes.
