A light red cabbage salad without mayonnaise, but seasoned with a dressing based on oil and orange juice, is my recommendation for you today. The base of this salad is red cabbage, but you can also find in it hakurei turnips and carrots. I usually eat hakurei turnips fresh as an addition to sandwiches and combined with other vegetables in salads. Its taste is delicate, a bit similar to the taste of radish, but hakurei turnip is definitely more delicate.
This red cabbage and turnip salad is great as a dinner salad. It is perfect not only with minced meat, chicken, grilled cheese or fish, but also with gyros and burgers.
