Radish is a vegetable that tastes delicious but not only as a supplement to sandwiches or served with cottage cheese.
Combined with other vegetables it makes a very tasty salad that can be eaten on its own or as an addition to other dishes.
Yesterday I made this simple salad and today I share its recipe with you.
I used both regular radish and white radish. The difference between them is that white radish tastes milder than the red one.
I gently flavoured my salad with lemon juice. It came out as a fresh and appetizing meal.
Ingredients for radish and cucumber salad.
- 1 bunch of radish
- 3 medium sized white radishes
- 1 cucumber
- 1 bunch spring onion
- a pinch of salt
- 2 table spoons of lemon juice
How to prepare healthy salad.
Cut the radish and the cucumber into thin slices. To add some style to the salad, you can cut the white radish into stripes or put it through the grater. Finely chop the spring onion. Mix all these ingredients. Season with salt and lemon juice.
Good to know when making healthy vegetable salad.
Neither the regular radish nor the white one should be too big because those have very soft, mushy insides.
