Do you have broccoli at home and a dilemma of what to prepare from it? Hmmm, there are many options 🙂 You can make a delicious soup, casserole or a salad.
In connection with the upcoming holidays, I am recommending you to make a salad. Your family or friends will visit you this Christmas and you will have to cook something like it or not. Salads are always great at this type of event.
There are many recipes for broccoli salad on the Internet. Most of them are based on the use of garlic sauce in salads. It was no different in my case.
For a change, I decided to make a salad with turkey breast meat. I rarely eat this meat and thought that using it in a salad might be a nice idea. And it was true. The salad was light, filling and the broccoli combined with the turkey meat wonderfully.

How to make broccoli salad with turkey.
Pour water into a pot, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt. When the water starts boiling, put the broccoli florets in and simmer for 5 minutes. After that, put the broccoli in a colander, pour cold water and allow it to drain.
Rub the turkey with butter and sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt. Put it in a baking sleeve and place it in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius for 1 hour and 15 minutes. After one hour of baking, carefully cut the sleeve with scissors so that the meat browns a little. Cool down the baked turkey, then cut it into medium-sized cubes.
Pour joghurt, mushed garlic, lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon of salt into a bowl and mix.
Dice the feta cheese into small cubes.
Assembling the salad: I served this salad in a layered version. First I put some broccoli in a bowl, then pieces of the turkey, then the feta cheese. I poured sauce over it. I repeated these steps four times in total. Finally, I put croutons on the top.

Turkey breast can also be fried in a pan instead of baking it.
You can replace turkey meat with chicken meat.
When adding salt to the sauce, be careful. Feta cheese is quite salty and you do not want to oversalt the salad.
