Parma ham salad
I love making this salad because it’s incredibly fast. The basis of the salad is a salad mix in a bag. When sold in such bags, the salad is already washed and cut, so you do not need to do it yourselves, which saves you some time. I also add cocktail tomatoes, olives, mozzarella and Parma ham to the salad. I tear the mozzarella and Parma ham into smaller pieces with my fingers, I do not cut them with a knife. Mozzarella has a layered structure that allows you to break it into pieces nicely. I drizzle the salad with a dressing based on olive oil and maple syrup.
This Parma ham salad is great when served with grilled dishes, roasted meats or vegetables. It is also perfect for lunch, afternoon tea and served to guests at all kinds of parties.

Ingredients for Parma ham salad.
- 100 g mozzarella
- 15 black olives
- 300 g cocktail tomatoes
- mix salad (80 g)
- 100 g Parma ham
Salad dressing:
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- a pinch of salt
- a pinch of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
How to make Parma ham salad.
Dressing: pour olive oil, maple syrup, lemon juice, salt and pepper into a cup and mix it.
In a plastic container or bowl, place 1/3 part of the salad mix on which put 1/3 of all the following ingredients: tomatoes, olives, Parma ham and mozzarella cheese. Repeat this step two more times. Once done, drizzle the ingredients on top with the dressing from the cup.

I selected a salad mix for my salad but you can use any type of salad such as lettuce, arugula or mache.
I sliced the tomatoes in halves, and I divided the mozzarella and Parma ham into smaller pieces. I cut each black olive in half.
You can replace the maple syrup with honey.
