How to make fried mozzarella cheese.
Slice the mozzarella cheese in half and pat-dry it lightly with a paper towel. Combine the tomato paste with the oregano and a pinch of salt in a bowl, then brush each slice of cheese with ot. Next, break the egg into the first bowl and whisk it with a fork. Put the flour in the second bowl and the breadcrumbs in the third one. Coat the cheese with the flour, then with the egg bath and finally with the breadcrumbs – in the latter two, coat the cheese twice.
Pour oil into a frying pan, heat it up and put the breaded cheese on it. Fry over a medium heat until golden brown on both sides – about 3-4 minutes. Place the fried cheese on a plate lined with a paper towel.
