Tortilla is a type of flat cake made from wheat flour or cornmeal. Though most often it can be found in Mexican dishes such as quesadillas or tacos, it has also settled in other cuisines for good and is used in many households. If you want some cold snacks, you can also prepare wraps from it, which everyone loves. You can use many ingredients as a filling for tortillas. The most popular filling is chicken, but you can also use vegetables or even combine the two. Often, cheese and a sauce is also a part of tortilla wraps. As for the sauce you can use mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, ketchup, ranch dressing and many others.

First, dice the chicken, put it in a frying pan, add oil and fry over a medium heat until soft. At the end of frying, add salt and let it cool down.
Cut the peppers and the lettuce into large strips. After that, peel the avocado, slice it, then drizzle it with lemon juice.
Place mayonnaise, sour cream, a pinch of salt and two tablespoons of lemon juice in a bowl and mix it.
To finish up, place the tortillas on the kitchen counter, then spread the sauce on each one, then put the slices of lettuce, pepper, avocado and chicken on them and roll them all up. Serve the tortilla wraps cut in half.
Good to know when making chicken tortilla wraps.
I used tortillas prepared from wheat flour. Corn tortillas work well in this recipe as well.
You can replace the green pepper with yellow or red pepper.
The avocados must be drizzled with lemon juice or soaked in water with it, or else they will darken very quickly right after slicing.
