Peel the potatoes by scraping the skin off with a knife. Put the peeled potatoes in a pot, add salt and water and bring it to a boil. Cook over a low heat, covered, for about 15-20 minutes. Drain the water from the boiled potatoes.

Put the butter in a pan, melt it and when it is liquid, add the mashed garlic. Fry for a few seconds over a medium heat. Then add the finely chopped parsley to it and fry together for 10 seconds. Put the potatoes fried in butter with garlic and parsley.
