Healthy salad with shrimps
Will this healthy salad appeal to everyone?
Hmm, I’m not sure but I know that for me it tastes superb 🙂
This salad not only tastes delicious but is also refreshing. Grapefruit combined with shrimp and avocado makes the flavor citrus and unique.
The salad is perfect for those looking for a quick snack as well as for those who take care about their figure.
I know that not everyone likes shrimp. If you belong to this group of people, you can replace the shrimp with grilled chicken breast.

Ingredients for shrimp salad.
- 1 avocado
- 1/2 cup of cooked shrimps
- 1 packet of salad (mix of salads, 15 ounces)
- 1/2 grapefruit
- 2 tablespoons of cashew nuts
Sauce:
- pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon of chopped chili
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
How to prepare shrimp salad.
Before using the shrimps they must be precooked. The best is to buy ready cooked shrimps in the shop.
Mix a pinch of salt, olive oil, finely sliced chili and lemon juice in a small cup.
Put the lettuce, shrimps, the avocado cut into strips, grapefruit and cashew nuts in a bowl.
Pour the sauce from the cup over the salad.

Good to know when making avocado and grapefruit salad with shrimp.
Remember to remove the white zest of the grapefruit. It is very bitter and it will give the same bitter taste to the salad.
