Baked broccoli casserole
I often make baked vegetables in my household .
I usually use a mixture of several vegetables for baking such as carrots, parsley, zucchini, onion, garlic or paprika.
This time I used only one type of vegetable – the lucky one turned out to be broccoli 🙂
You can prepare cauliflower, carrot, tomatoes or any other vegetables you like in the same way as broccoli .
I served broccoli as an addition to the main course but I think that it can be served by itself as well.

How to prepare baked broccoli.
Divide the broccoli into small roses. Boil for two minutes in water salted with 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Once boiled, drain it and pour cold water on it. Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, sunflower seeds, white pepper, nutmeg and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Spread the mixture evenly in a heat-resistant dish. Add the broccoli into the mixture. Bake in the oven heated to 180 degrees of Celsius for 20 minutes.
Enjoy!

Good to know when making baked broccoli with cheese.
Do not add too much salt to the cheese-cream mixture because the cheese is already salty itself and you may easily over-season it.
If you like garlic, you can add minced one to the mixture too.
