Today once again I did one of my favorite salads.
The difficulty level of its preparation is as low as possible 🙂
I usually make this salad with a mix of arugula and lettuce. This time I did it only with arugula but only because it was the only salad available in the shop where I purchased the ingredients.
This salad can be eaten on its own or it may be an addition to all kinds of different dishes.
Ingredients for arugula salad.
- 1 packet of arugula salad
- 6 sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of pumpkin seeds
- 6 tablespoons of cheese (any type e.g. Gouda)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of Provencal herbs
How to prepare arugula salad.
Grate the cheese on large mesh. Cut the tomatoes into strips. Mix the lettuce, the chopped tomatoes, the grated cheese and the pumpkin seeds in a bowl. Mix the olive oil and the Provence herbs and pour it over the salad. Gently mix.
Good to know when making salad with cheese and arugula.
Instead of plain olive oil I use the olive oil in which sun-dried tomatoes are marinated. It already contains herbs.
