Seafood includes crustaceans such as: lobsters, shrimps, crabs and molluscs such as scallops, oysters, cuttlefish and octopus. In almost every store you can buy mixes that contain a selection of different seafood. I really like this type of ready-made mixes, because they are perfect for pasta, risotto and pizza.
About two weeks ago, I bought a pack of fresh seafood. Unfortunately, due to the lack of time, I did not manage to prepare it right away and had to freeze it. Yesterday, I dug it out of the freezer and made it with tomato sauce and served it with spaghetti.

How to make seafood spaghetti.
Rinse the seafood in water, put it in a colander and let it drain for 10 minutes.
Pour olive oil into a pan and add finely chopped onion, then fry over a low heat for 6-7 minutes. After that, add the minced garlic, finely chopped chili, herbs of Provence and cook for 30 seconds. Then add the tomatoes, salt and pepper. Continue cooking, covered, over a low heat for 15 minutes. At the end, add the seafood and cook it, this time over a medium heat for 4-5 minutes.
Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. It took me 10 minutes. Pour the cooked pasta into a colander, pour in cold water and cool it down a little.
Serve the spaghetti with tomato and seafood sauce, drizzled with lemon juice on top.

Good to know when making seafood spaghetti.
If you use frozen seafood, it must be defrosted first. You can let it stand for a while at room temperature. If you want to defrost it a little faster, put the seafood in a lukewarm, but not hot water for a few minutes.
