I have puff pastry for you again. 🙂 I cannot resist making those delicious sweet and savoury snacks using this type of pastry.
If I had to decide whether I am more for sweet or savoury puff pastry, I would not be able decide. I love both variations.
In fact, I use puff pastry when I care about time. Like when I know that I will have guests and I have to serve something to snack but I don’t have much time to prepare. I also go for them when I am in a bad mood and need to eat something 🙂
The tart from the recipe below is with salami and zucchini and the base is covered with sour cream. Try it without hesitation 😉

Wash the zucchini and cut it into very thin slices. Grate cheese on a large-mesh grater.
It is best to buy salami already sliced. The slices should be very thin.
Cut the onion into thin rings.
The puff pastry should be taken out directly from the fridge. Line the pastry on the worktop and gently roll it out. Place it into a baking tray lined with baking paper. Spread the top of the pastry with sour cream and sprinkle half of the grated cheese evenly. On top of the cheese, place the zucchini and salami slices. Sprinkle the top with onion rings and the rest of the cheese.
Heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Bake the tart for 25 to 30 minutes.
The zucchini slices should be thin. If you cut them too thick, they will release too much juice and the pastry will get soaked.
