I try eating fish as often as possible. Unfortunately, where I live the selection is quite modest.
Every time I am in Poland, I try to make up for the lack of fish at home and I eat delicious herrings or fresh salmon.
Today as well my dinner will be fish. Although it was frozen but it is still very tasty 🙂

Defrost the cod fillets and drain the excess water from it. Sprinkle with one teaspoon of salt and pepper. Next, dredge them first in flour, then in egg and finally in breadcrumbs. Heat the oil in a frying pan. When it’s hot, reduce the fire to medium and place the breaded fillets in the pan. Fry on both sides until golden brown.
Sauce: Mix the water and cream in a pot. Bring it to a boil. Add salt, pepper, mustard, sugar, lemon juice. If the sauce is not thick enough, add corn or potato flour. Cook it on a low heat for 4 to 5 minutes. When ready, add finely cut, fresh dill.
Pour the sauce over the fish and serve it with potatoes and salad.
After frying, place the fish on a paper towel to get rid of excess fat.
It is best to fry fresh fish, so if you have some, use those instead of frozen ones.
Before adding the flour to the sauce, mix it with cold water in order to prevent clumps being formed in the sauce.
