A fresh fruit smoothie is a perfect way to satisfy your hunger quickly. It works great when served for breakfast, lunch or afternoon snack. My love for smoothies continues, now even more than before. It’s great to experiment, combine flavours and search for new ones. Below you can find the recipe for a strawberry smoothie with mango, kiwi and banana. I combined all of these fruits with natural joghurt and honey and served it with some cornflakes on top.
Ingredients for strawberry and mango smoothie.
- 2 kiwis
- 1 banan
- 1 mango
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon of lime juice
- 100 g fresh strawberries
- 250 g natural joghurt
- 2 centimetre long piece of ginger
- 2 tablespoons of cornflakes
How to make strawberry and mango smoothie.
Put the chopped fruits into a blender. Add honey, lime juice, plain joghurt and grated ginger. Blend until you get a uniform consistency. Serve the smoothie in a glass by itself or sprinkled with some cornflakes.
Good to know when making strawberry smoothie.
The lime juice can be replaced with lemon juice.
In season, it is worth using fresh strawberries. If you don’t have any, use frozen ones.
