Mango lassi is a drink originating in India, based on joghurt, milk and mango pulp. Lassi can be seasoned with sugar and spices such as salt, cumin, cinnamon or saffron. This drink is very refreshing, so you can often find it on the breakfast, lunch and dinner menu of many restaurants.
Those of you who like spicy Indian dishes also know that lassi, like jogurt, cream or milk, soothes the burning sensation in the stomach after eating something spicy.
Mango lassi is extremely easy to prepare. Combine all the ingredients in a blender. After mixing, you should get a liquid drink, runnier than a smoothie.

How to prepare mango lassi.
Peel the mango, remove the pulp and put it in a blender. Add cold joghurt, cold milk, a bit of cinnamon and honey, then blend it into a uniform consistency. After blending, pour the mango lassi through a fine strainer to get rid of the fibres that are in the mango pulp.

Good to know when making mango lassi.
The mangos should be very ripe and sweet. Unripe mangos will make the drink unpalatable.
I seasoned my lassi with acacia honey. You can of course use any kind of honey, but it is important for it to be natural. You can also go for crystal sugar or brown sugar.
