If you want to provide your body with a proper dose of vitamins, choose kale. The nutritional value of this vegetable is well known: it contains antioxidants and is also rich in vitamin K, vitamin C, folic acid and calcium.

Ingredients for tuna and kale pasta.

  • 300 g tortiglioni pasta
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 2 big cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 100 g fresh kale
  • tuna in brine (170 g)
  • black pepper to taste
  • 200 ml cream 30 %

How to make tuna and kale pasta.

Cook the pasta in water salted with 1 teaspoon of salt, according to the instructions on its package. Once cooked, pour it into a colander and pour cold water over it.

Pour olive oil into a cooking pan. Add mashed garlic and finely chopped tomatoes. Fry over a medium heat for 5-6 minutes. Then, add tuna drained from its brine, kale, a pinch of pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Continue frying for 3-4 minutes. At the very end, add the cream and keep it cooking for 2 minutes.

Add the cooked pasta into the hot sauce. Mix thoroughly.

Before cutting the tomatoes, I scalded them in hot water, then I peeled them off. In order for the peel to come off from the tomatoes easily and quickly, just put them in boiling water for 10 seconds.

I used tuna in water brine. You can also use tuna in oil or on its own brine.
