If you like chicken meat, you will like this dish as well. It is extremely easy to make and it will be perfect for gatherings with friends.
For a long time, chicken wings were one of the parts of chicken, that I used least often. That changed some time ago when my mother-in-law made oven baked chicken wings for dinner. She served them with tzatziki and pasta salad. It was a simple dish but it tasted fantastic.
Recently, I decided to recreate my mother-in-law’s recipe and made baked chicken wings. The wings came out juicy, slightly spicy and tasty.
Before the wings ended up in an oven, I marinated them for a few hours. I suggest that you prepare the wings in the evening and marinate them overnight.

How to make oven baked chicken wings.
Rinse the wings in water, then dry them with a paper towel.
Combine sweet and hot paprika, lemon juice and zest, oil, honey, salt and mashed garlic in a small bowl.
Put the wings into a large bowl and rub them thoroughly with the marinade from the small bowl. Cover the bowl and set it aside for a few hours in the refrigerator.
Take the wings out of the refrigerator, place them on a baking sheet and put them in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for 50 minutes to an hour. Turn the wings over halfway through the baking time.

Good to know when making oven-baked chicken wings.
For making the marinade, I used natural acacia honey. You can use any kind of honey, but it should be natural, not artificial.
If you like spicy dishes, use more spicy paprika. You can also increase the amount of garlic. I only added two cloves of garlic because I didn’t want it to take over the other spices.
