Carrot and pineapple slaw
Almost every meat dinner I make must have slaw or vegetables as an addition. It can be a vegetable salad such as a Greek salad, it can be pickles, beets or any favourite salad that I feel like eating at the given moment. In the case of slaws, the most important thing is, of course, the quality of the vegetables used to prepare them and their freshness, because vegetables, and often also fruits, should be juicy and as fresh as possible.
The slaw below is a combination of ingredients generally available both in our pantries and in stores. To prepare this mayonnaise slaw, you need fruits such as apple and pineapple, as well as one of the most popular vegetables, such as carrot. The carrot and apple should be grated, and the pineapple should be cut into cubes with a knife or you can buy already cut pineapple in a can, which is what I do most of the time. Then, you quickly combine the grated and chopped salad ingredients with mayonnaise, cream and spices. Serve immediately after preparation or store in the refrigerator. I encourage you to try the recipe for carrot and pineapple slaw below. Enjoy!
