Strawberry cheesecakes in cups
Cheesecake with strawberries in a cup is a quick cold dessert, which is worth making during the season for fresh fruit. The season for strawberries is already underway and I also started making buns, dumplings and cakes with these fruits. This cup dessert, which I prepared for the upcoming weekend, is not very time-consuming and will surely appeal to those of you who like the combination of cheese and fruit. The cheese I chose is a delicate cream cheese. I only added a small amount of powdered sugar and a little lemon juice to it. The combination of strawberries and cheese is complemented by white chocolate mixed with crushed biscuits.
I start preparing this dessert by peeling the strawberries and cutting them into larger pieces. I should not even need to mention that the fresh, juicy and sweet strawberries will work best, bought at the market or collected from your garden. Strawberries from the supermarket are often hard and not very sweet, and I admit that I rarely get good strawberries in supermarkets. When I have the strawberries cut, I combine lemon juice with powdered sugar and cream cheese in a separate bowl. The last element of the dessert are biscuits combined with chocolate, which I first crumble in a blender, then mix with chocolate pieces.
Assembling the dessert is easy, because all you have to do is arrange all its elements in layers on top of each other. It doesn’t really matter if you start with the layer of strawberries, the cream cheese, or the biscuits. I start the biscuits and chocolate, then I put the cream cheese and pieces of strawberries on it. This dessert can be decorated with leaves of fresh mint or sprinkled with grated white chocolate. I recommend you the recipe for cheesecakes with strawberries in cups and I wish you a tasty meal.
