Mini donuts with homogenized cheese in 10 minutes
Fat Thursday is literally on the doorstep and on that day it is obligatory to eat at least one donut 🙂 Some of you might buy donuts in a pastry shop, and some of you might decide to prepare them by yourselves. I will make my donuts myself, like every year, because the taste of homemade donuts is irreplaceable. I know that some people decide to buy donuts due to the fact that their preparation is quite time-consuming. For them, I have a recipe for mini donuts with homogenized cheese that can be prepared in 10 minutes. I hope that if you belong to this group of people, you will be tempted by these quick donuts and prepare them at home for the upcoming Fat Thursday.
Homogenized cheese donuts are really quick to make. To prepare them, you need flour, eggs, homogenized cheese and baking powder. I also add salt, sugar and vanilla to the dough. Combine all the ingredients with a spoon, form balls from the dough and put them into hot oil. There is no need to wait for the dough to rise, because these donuts are not based on yeast. After the donuts are fried, sprinkle them with icing sugar and they’re ready. Enjoy 🙂

Ingredients for donuts from homogenized cheese.
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 2 medium-sized eggs
- 250 g homogenized cheese vanilla flavour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon of icing sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Additionally:
- icing sugar for sprinkling the donuts
- oil for frying
How to make donuts from homogenized cheese in 10 minutes.
Sift flour, baking powder, salt and icing sugar into a bowl. Mix it.
In a separate bowl, combine the homogenized cheese with the vanilla extract and the eggs. Then combine the liquid ingredients with the dry ingredients by mixing them with a wooden spoon. You should get a smooth dough with a slightly loose consistency. On my Instagram I added some pictures of the dough after the ingredients were combined.
Pour a large amount of oil into a fairly wide pot and heat it up. When the oil is hot, reduce the heat to medium and put in the donuts. Slightly grease your hands with oil, and use a metal spoon, also smeared with oil, to spoon the donut dough. Take the dough into your hands, form balls slightly larger than a walnut, then put them in the hot oil right away. Fry the donuts until golden brown for a few minutes. Continuously turn the donuts during frying.
Put the fried donuts on a plate lined with a paper towel. When slightly cooled, sprinkle them with icing sugar.

The homogenized cheese should be at room temperature when combined with the other ingredients of the donuts.
From the given amounts of ingredients, 18 pieces of medium-sized donuts are obtained.
