Bun with condensed milk
Bun is a sweet pastry made of flour, eggs, grease, yeast and milk. Yeast dough is quite simple and easy to prepare, it does not take much time to make it. What takes time is rising the dough and baking it, but this waiting time can be used for doing something else. The simplest buns are made only from yeast dough and have no additives. However, if you fancy a bit of fruit or chocolate, you can add pieces of it to the dough or fill the dough with it by forming a roll.
Sweet bun with condensed milk is a fluffy and filling yeast bun, which, in addition to the ingredients I mentioned above, also contains a bit of condensed milk. Condensed milk makes the yeast dough sweet, delicate, moist, and after baking it has a beautiful crust. I serve this bun for breakfast or dinner, spread with butter, jam or chocolate cream. Of course, the bun tastes the best right after baking, when it is still warm. If I serve it a bit later, for example the next day, I put it in a microwave for a few seconds before serving. I recommend you a recipe for bun with condensed milk and I wish you successful baking.

Ingredients for bun with condensed milk.
- 150 ml lukewarm milk
- 7 g instant dry yeast
- 350 g all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons of crystal sugar
- 50 ml condensed milk
- 1 “L” sized egg
- 1 “S” sized egg
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 50 g butter
How to make bun with condensed milk.
Put the yeast, lukewarm milk, and sugar into a cup and mix, then set it aside for 10 minutes. Sift the flour into a bowl, add the leavened yeast, condensed milk, an “L” sized egg and vanilla. Knead for 2-3 minutes. Then, add the softened butter and continue kneading for 6-7 minutes. I made my dough using a planetary robot with a hook attachment. Cover the prepared yeast dough with a kitchen cloth and leave it to rise for an hour.
Put the risen dough on the kitchen counter, divide it into two parts and shape them into two long rolls. Braid the dough rolls together and place them in a rectangular baking tin. Beat a small egg with a fork and when it is liquid, spread it over the bun. Cover the bun with a cloth and leave to rise for 25-30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and when it is hot put the tin with the bun in. Bake the bun for 35-40 minutes.

Good to know when making bun with condensed milk.
I baked the bun in a rectangular baking tin measuring 30 by 11 centimetres. Before putting the dough into it, I covered it with baking paper.
All the ingredients used to prepare the yeast dough should be at room temperature, except for the milk, which should be lukewarm.
The baked bun can be sprinkled with powdered sugar.
You can replace the instant yeast with fresh yeast, in which case use 30 g of it.
