Puff rolls with tomatoes, olives and cheese
Puff rolls with tomatoes, olives and cheese are a great snack that you can prepare in the blink of an eye. These rolls are based on puff pastry, so when you prepare them, you must have ready-made puff pastry at home. In this recipe, you can use either store-bought or homemade puff pastry.
Puff pastry is nothing more than a combination of flour and grease, a little water and a pinch of salt. After baking, the pastry acquires a characteristic layered structure, it is light and crunchy. It works perfectly as a basis for both sweet and savoury baked goods.
The puff rolls in the below recipe are one of the ways of using puff pastry. I added goat cheese, tomatoes and green olives to them. I recommend serving these rolls for breakfast, as a snack or for dinner. I encourage you to try the following recipe for puff rolls and I hope you will like them.

- 1 teaspoon of dry rosemary
- 1 egg

How to make puff rolls with tomatoes, olives and cheese.
Remove the puff pastry from the refrigerator, place it on the countertop and cut it along into one-centimetre-wide strips. Starting from one side, roll each slice into a snail shape, which you can then flatten a little with a roller. Brush the rolls with a beaten egg, then sprinkle with grated goat cheese and place a few slices of tomato and olives on top of it. Sprinkle on top with a pinch of rosemary.
Line a baking tray with baking paper and place the rolls on it at small intervals. Next, put the tray in an oven preheated to 210 degrees Celsius for 30-35 minutes.

Good to know when making puff rolls with tomatoes, olives and cheese.
Depending on how large the rolls are, you can use one or two strips of puff pastry to prepare one piece.
I did not cover the entire rolls with the filling, instead, I left one centimetre along the edge of each roll empty.
The goat cheese that I opted for while making these rolls was hard cheese.
In the recipe, I do not give specific amounts of tomatoes or olives, because it all depends on how many rolls you get. In my opinion, 2-3 pieces of tomato and olives on one roll are sufficient.
