Overnight quinoa
This overnight chocolate quinoa is something you make in the evening and then to have it perfect for breakfast the next day. So, by “overnight” dessert I do not mean that it is made or eaten at night, but it stands in the fridge over the night. The dessert is left in the fridge for a few hours so that the quinoa swells a bit and absorbs as much milk as possible.
Overnight chocolate quinoa does not contain sugar or lactose, its taste comes from the dark chocolate and the fruits you serve it with. I mostly like serving it with bananas and kiwi, but any other soft type of fruit will work just fine. I encourage you to try this recipe for overnight chocolate quinoa.

How to make overnight chocolate quinoa.
Place quinoa in a pot, pour cold water in it and bring it to boil, then simmer for 12 minutes. Once cooked, drain the water out and let the quinoa cool down.
Pour the milk into a pot and bring it to boil. When the milk starts boiling, remove it from the heat and add the chocolate pieces to it. Stir until the chocolate is completely dissolved. At that point, add the cooked quinoa, mix it, cover the pot with cling film and refrigerate overnight. Serve the chocolate quinoa in the morning with your favourite fruits.
