Oatmeal is the most common meal for breakfast in my home. The basis of every oatmeal is oat flakes and water or milk. The whole thing should be boiled for a few minutes and served warm. The taste of any oatmeal can be changed by all kinds of additions such as fresh and dried fruit, nuts, honey, maple syrup, chocolate or almonds.
