I think we all know this salad.

I wonder whether you do it the same or different way.


Red cabbage salad

I can not imagine any meaty main course without the addition of a salad.

Plenty of recipes for salads exist. Everyone can find the one they like the most.

Last time I made a salad from red cabbage and today I am presenting you its recipe.

I usually serve it with all kinds of meat. It tastes best served with roasted duck and pork.

  • Ingredients:

    • 1/2 red cabbage (medium size)
    • 1 small white onion
    • 1 medium apple
    • 1 teaspoon of sugar
    • 1 tbsp of sunflower oil
    • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
    • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • Cut the cabbage into small pieces. Afterwards, boil it in water with a teaspoon of salt for 5 minutes.

    Let it cool down.

    Cut the onion into small cubes, and grate the apple. Combine the cabbage, apple, onion, lemon, sugar and oil in a  bowl. Mix them thoroughly.

    The lemon juice can be replaced with vinegar.
